Delete Your Account

You can delete your Swipe account in two ways. Both remove your profile from Discover, end your matches, and stop notifications.

Option 1 — In the app

1. Open Swipe
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
4. Confirm

This takes effect immediately.

Option 2 — By email

If you can't access the app, email swipeappin@gmail.com from the address or phone number linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm once it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, photos, and bio — removed from the app immediately
• Your account is removed from Discover and existing matches
• Push notifications to your device stop

What we retain, and why

We keep a limited, non-public record of deleted accounts. This is standard practice for trust & safety — it lets us investigate reports filed before deletion and stops someone banned for abuse from simply deleting and recreating an account. This record is not visible to other users and is not used to show you in the app again.

If you'd like this record removed entirely rather than retained, say so in your deletion request and we will action it, except where we're required to keep it for a legal reason.
